"Oskar Mayer"

Oskar Mayer was the great-granduncle of your host. He was a butcher's apprentice who emigrated from Noerdlingen to Chicago around 1880, changed his first name to "Oscar" and became famous for the wiener sausages he made.

The room we named after him is furnished with built-in wardrobes and a romantic four poster bed. You might like the bathroom with its thousands of little turquoise tiles - for reasons unkown, our tiler called it "the green hell" :-)
